About Cross Group

Cross Group was founded in 1986 as an independent Security Printing Consultancy after 10 years at the heart of currency production practicing all aspects of manufacturing in the high-security printing industry. Procurement and Supply Services followed shortly after, with contracts for a wide range of consumables to new-build and established banknote printing factories globally.

Cross Group Consultants are comprised of senior staff with in-depth knowledge and understanding of every facet of the high security printing industry. All Consultants major in particular sectors of this niche industry and have specialist working backgrounds with the main industry players.

In 2001 a joint venture, Cross Conferences, was formed with another UK company and organised 15 international High Security Printing Conferences, from conception through to management of the events, in Eastern Europe and Asia. In 2009 Reconnaissance International purchased this side of the company and these regional Conferences continue to bring together key players in the high security printing world, covering new developments in currency production, e-passports and e-ID.

Consultancy and Project Management is provided by a team of experts who have many years practical experience in the fields of new-build plants, printing machinery, security paper, ink and passports, plus site security. Cross Group have unique global know-how in facilitating and managing projects of any scope or size, from start to finish.

Cross Group source and supply a very wide range of production consumables for use once the plant is commissioned. Competitive quotes are provided on all consumables and equipment should the plant expand, update or require spare parts.
